A young pregnant woman has given a shocking account of a mysterious, bloody handprint appearing on her stomach after she allegedly slapped a spirit in her dream.

The woman, whose identity has been withheld for privacy reasons, recounted her chilling experience in an interview with Liberian journalist Donso Sheriff on Thursday.

She claimed that three nights ago, she had a terrifying dream in which an unknown woman attempted to take her unborn baby.

“In the dream, I saw a strange woman trying to reach for my stomach. I was so scared, but I gathered courage and slapped her,” the woman said with a trembling voice.”

“Then I woke up suddenly, and my stomach was burning. When I looked down, there was a red handprint on my belly… and it was bleeding.”

Overwhelmed with fear, her family immediately rushed her to the nearest clinic for medical assistance. However, local healthcare workers have yet to provide a scientific explanation for the bizarre incident.

While medical practitioners remain puzzled, many residents believe the event to be a spiritual attack, a belief deeply rooted in traditional Liberian culture.

Supernatural encounters and spiritual warfare are widely acknowledged in many parts of the country, and this incident has only fueled ongoing discussions about the unseen forces at play in daily life.

Community members have been offering prayers and seeking spiritual guidance for the woman’s protection, while some elders suggest traditional cleansing rituals to ward off any further harm.

Authorities and medical experts have yet to release an official statement on the matter. Meanwhile, the incident has sparked widespread debates on social media, with many expressing both skepticism and deep concern over the supernatural implications of the case.

As the young woman continues to recover from the ordeal, the mystery surrounding the eerie handprint remains unresolved, leaving the people of Grand Cape Mount County both fearful and fascinated by the unexplained forces that may be at work in their midst.
