The submission of the nominees follows a cabinet reshuffle announced by the governor last week. As part of the reshuffle, the office of Chief of Staff was abolished, and five commissioners were removed from their positions.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Baffa Bichi, was also relieved of his duties due to health reasons.
Speaker Falgore directed the commissioner-nominees to appear before the Assembly for screening on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.
This reshuffle is part of the governor’s efforts to reorganize his administration for improved governance in the state.
