During a ministerial screening in the Senate on Wednesday, Senate President Godswill Akpabio humorously cautioned Senator Osita Ngwu for his remarks on the appearance of nominee Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu.
Bianca, nominated for the post of Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, presented her credentials before the Senate and was subsequently questioned by lawmakers.

Ngwu, representing Enugu West District, began his comments by calling Bianca “the beautiful nominee standing before us,” to which Akpabio interjected with a light-hearted reminder to focus on her qualifications, saying, “Restrict yourself to the resume.
Forget this word beautiful. She didn’t put in the CV that she is beautiful.”
The exchange sparked laughter in the Senate, after which Ngwu continued with his assessment of Bianca’s qualifications, highlighting her professional achievements and experience for the role.
