The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced Wednesday, May 1, as public holiday in honor of this year’s Workers’ Day Celebration.
This declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the government, according to a statement released on Tuesday by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Aishetu Ndayako.
In the statement, the government underscored the importance of upholding excellence, efficiency, and equity across all sectors of labor.
