President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially sworn in Olatunji Disu as the new Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
Disu took the oath of office on Wednesday at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The swearing-in ceremony formally confirmed his appointment as the head of the Nigeria Police Force, marking the beginning of his tenure at a time of heightened security concerns across the country.
Disu is expected to outline his policing priorities and reforms aimed at strengthening internal security, improving professionalism within the force, and enhancing public confidence in policing nationwide.
