Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Applauds Bayero University, Kano For Global Ranking Success

The Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Bayero University, Kano (BUK), for its remarkable achievement of securing the 6th position in the prestigious World University Rankings and being listed among the top 10 globally.

In a congratulatory message signed by KHAIRUN Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rashid Garba, and addressed to BUK Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sagir Abbas, on Thursday, KHAIRUN lauded BUK’s exceptional recognition, particularly its impressive score of 48.8 in international outlook, surpassing even the first-ranked university in that category.

“This distinguished recognition is a true testament to your administrative acumen and the university’s unwavering commitment to excellence in education, research, and global engagement,” the message read.

KHAIRUN also highlighted Bayero University’s high grades in teaching, which further underscore its dedication to fostering an enriching academic environment. This environment, KHAIRUN noted, equips students with the tools and knowledge necessary to make impactful contributions to society.

“This is indeed a prestigious honor that not only brings pride to your esteemed institution but also to the African continent as a whole,” the message added.

Expressing immense pride in BUK’s extraordinary accomplishment, KHAIRUN pledged its full support for the university’s continued success, noting that it would stand in solidarity with BUK in its future endeavors.

The management of KHAIRUN also expressed its desire to physically visit and show its respect for this milestone at the earliest convenience.

KHAIRUN concluded by expressing hope for further collaboration with BUK, aligning with the milestones achieved by the university as a global leader in higher education.
