Popular actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, aka Jnr Pope, who was reported dead in a boat accident on Wednesday, has been revived.
He is said to have been rushed to hospital for further medical attention.
Confirming his resuscitation, President of the Actor Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas wrote on Instagram: “What God cannot do does not exist. Junior Pope is alive, he is taking treatment in the hospital”.
The internet went agog when he was reported to have drowned while returning from a movie shoot in Anam river in Anambra State with three others.
Before the boat they were riding in capsized, Pope lamented his phobia for water in a video.
In the short video, the actor was heard begging the captain of the boat to take it easy because he was the only child of his parents and he has three children.

“Bros I beg no vex, take it easy, na only me dem born o and I get three children, na me go raise them” He said.
He speaks further: “see the risk we take people to entertain you, live and direct on River Niger, oh this water dey hit under, o boy my intestine done commot o, I no dey joke o”
