Davido Makes History As A Voter In U.S. Presidential Election

Nigerian music star David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, marked a personal milestone on Tuesday by voting for the first time in a U.S. election.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Davido exercised his voting rights as an American citizen, making his voice heard in the 60th quadrennial U.S. presidential election, which will determine the successor to President Joe Biden.

Taking to his verified account on the social media platform X, Davido shared his excitement and pride in participating in the democratic process.

Posting a photo taken after casting his vote, he captioned it simply, “First time voter !! .” The post has since gone viral, drawing reactions from fans and followers worldwide who celebrated this significant moment with the Afrobeats superstar.
