The management board of Kano Pillars Football Club has suspend the team’s head coach, Alhaji Audu Maikaba.
According to information reaching Grassroots Parrot, the board is currently in a meeting discussing the situation. The reasons behind Maikaba’s suspension are yet to be disclosed as of press time.
The source further confirmed that Maikaba has been suspended for a period of thirty (30) days, during which a committee will be set up to investigate any alleged wrongdoing at the club.
In the interim, Ahmad Garba Yaro-yaro has been appointed as the acting head coach.
Further details on the suspension are expected to be communicated through an official letter from the club’s management.
