President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Saturday depart Abuja on a working visit to Borno, Bauchi and Lagos states.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja by the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statement, the President’s first stop will be Borno State, where he is expected to commission several projects executed by the Borno State Government under Governor Babagana Zulum in collaboration with the Federal Government.
While in Maiduguri, Tinubu will also attend the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor and Senator, Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Borno, the President will proceed to Bauchi State to condole with the state government and the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the renowned Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood.

Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, a highly respected cleric with a large following across Nigeria and beyond, died on November 27.
After the condolence visit in Bauchi, President Tinubu will travel to Lagos, where he is expected to spend the end-of-year holidays.
During his stay in Lagos, the President is scheduled to attend a number of official and social engagements, including the annual Eyo Festival slated for December 27.
The festival, which will take place at Tafawa Balewa Square, is expected to honour notable personalities, including the President’s late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as former Lagos State governors, Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
