The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (rtd), has formally summoned suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Dr. Ngozi Ordu, to appear before him at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
Grassroots Parrot reports that this development was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Ibibia Lucky Worika.
The summons is part of an inquiry into all appointments made during Fubara’s two-year administration, as well as a forum for the embattled governor to justify his call for reinstatement.
According to the statement titled “RIVERS GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT,” Vice Admiral Ibas directed Fubara to present full documentation and records of appointments carried out under his leadership, including the processes and justifications behind each.
