The tragic incident occurred on Friday, April 18, 2025, and also left two other individuals seriously injured.

The deceased and the two victims — Mr. Solomon Kingsley and Chief Olusegun Alalade — all hail from Alalade Compound in Ada, a neighboring town to Igbajo.

While Kingsley and Alalade managed to escape with injuries, Olabiyi was overwhelmed and could not be rescued in time.
