Popular Northern singer Rarara has reiterated his unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu, despite facing significant backlash on social media.

In an exclusive interview with DLC News, Rarara addressed several current issues, including the blocking of his Facebook account, the upcoming nationwide protests, and the president’s accomplishments during his tenure of just over a year.

Rarara explained that his support for Tinubu stems from a genuine respect for the president’s efforts to address the nation’s pressing challenges.

He cited the creation of the Ministry of Livestock, the Northwest Development Commission, and advancements in local government autonomy as key achievements. These initiatives, according to Rarara, are crucial in combating hunger, poverty, and insecurity in the region.

“Tinubu has achieved significant milestones that previous leaders could not,” Rarara asserted, highlighting the president’s proactive measures. He expressed optimism that Tinubu’s initiatives will yield positive results within the next three months.

When asked about the criticism he has faced, Rarara remained resolute. “I won’t retract my support for the president,” he declared. He called on Nigerians, especially those from the North, to participate in solidarity marches to honor Tinubu’s contributions and urged local government chairmen to manage federal resources effectively.

Rarara also addressed the recent blocking of his Facebook account, viewing it as an attempt to silence his advocacy for Tinubu. Despite this setback, he vowed to continue using his platform to highlight the president’s successes.

In light of the planned nationwide protests, Rarara’s support for Tinubu stands as a testament to his belief in the president’s vision for Nigeria’s future. He urged the public to give Tinubu’s initiatives a chance to succeed, emphasizing that the president’s efforts are geared towards long-term improvements for the country.
