Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, on Monday evening joined youth and political leaders in Kano to break his third Ramadan fast. The prayers were held at Al-Furqan Mosque, while the Iftar took place at Amani Event Centre in the historic city.

The event was marked by a special Iftar and the launch of a feeding program aimed at supporting the underprivileged.

This initiative is part of Seyi Tinubu’s Renewed Hope for Youth Engagement (RHYE) project, which focuses on assisting vulnerable groups, including physically challenged individuals. The feeding program aligns with the broader vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda of his father’s administration.

Prior to the Iftar, Seyi Tinubu paid a courtesy visit to elder statesman and business magnate Aminu Dantata. Later in the day, he also met with the Governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf.

The Iftar event served as a platform for unity, bringing together the sons of Kano’s prominent political figures, including those of Governor Abba Yusuf, former governors Abdullahi Ganduje and Ibrahim Shekarau.

In a rare show of political harmony, the gathering saw the presence of key figures from various political parties, including the All Progressives Congress (APC), New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Notable attendees included state NNPP chairman Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa, APC chieftain Dan Agundi, and several NNPP government appointees, demonstrating that the event transcended political affiliations.

Expressing his gratitude, Seyi Tinubu thanked the people of Kano for their warm reception and hospitality. “Thank you; thank you; and thank you,” he said.

He emphasized the importance of community service and social welfare, especially during Ramadan, and reaffirmed his commitment to initiatives that uplift the underprivileged and foster national unity.

His feeding program is expected to provide essential meals to thousands of fasting individuals in Kano, with a particular focus on the underprivileged, further reinforcing his dedication to social impact and humanitarian service.
