The Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA) has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar Namadi, following the tragic loss of his beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and his eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi.

In a condolence letter signed by the SAA Nigeria Country Director, Dr. Godwin Atser, the organization described the loss of two cherished family members in such close succession as an unimaginable grief that words alone cannot console.

“Losing two cherished family members in such close succession brings immeasurable grief, and we can only imagine the depth of sorrow your family is experiencing at this moment,” Dr. Atser stated in the letter. “We are profoundly saddened to learn of this heartbreaking loss.”

Dr. Atser paid tribute to the late Hajiya Namadi, describing her as a beacon of love, wisdom, and strength whose legacy will remain cherished by all who knew her.

He also highlighted the promising life of Abdulwahab Namadi, noting that his character reflected the values that Governor Namadi has diligently instilled in his family and the people of Jigawa State.

“Their memories will continue to inspire all who were touched by their presence,” the letter added.

The SAA prayed for Allah (SWT) to forgive the souls of the departed, grant them Aljannah Firdaus, and provide the Governor and his family with the strength to bear this painful loss.

The organization reaffirmed its support for the Governor and the people of Jigawa State during this challenging time.

This tragic incident has drawn sympathies from across the country, with many recognizing the remarkable contributions of Hajiya Maryam Namadi and the promising legacy of Abdulwahab.
