The Council of Muslim Community (CMC) in Kano is calling on the general public and the entire Muslim Ummah in the state to come out en-masse to participate in the forthcoming Eid Kabir prayers on Sallah Day.
Grassroots Parrot reports that Muslims across the globe will be celebrating Eid on June 16, 2024.
The CMC Eid Kabir prayer is billed to take hold on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at the Kano Polo Ground (Independence Road after Eldorado, Kano) in the Abuja Yan Dutsa Area at 9 a.m. prompt.
This is contained in a statement issued and signed by the Chairman of the Council in Kano, Alh. Abdulgafar Akintayo Balogun, and made available to Grassroots Parrot on Thursday.

Alh. Abdulgafar Akintayo Balogun, in the statement, also confirmed that the Eid Kabir prayer would be broadcast live on 95.1 Wazobia FM, Kano, from 9 a.m. on Sunday.
The CMC Chairman appreciates the prospective Muslims that would be gracing the Eid prayers in anticipation and wishes all Muslim Ummah in Kano a happy Sallah celebration.
Alh. Abdulgafar Akintayo Balogun, however, reiterated that the Eid Kabir prayer session would be held at the Kano Polo Ground at 9 a.m., urging all prospective participants to be time-conscious.
