Gbolahan Oyedemi, a Deputy Commissioner of Police with the Force Criminal and Investigation Department, Alagbon, Lagos State, has reportedly committed suicide.
The body of the DCP was reportedly discovered in his private house in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, with a noose hanging around his neck on Monday.
Though full investigation was yet to be carried out to ascertain the cause of his death, the deceased DCP was said to have gone home for the Easter celebration and arrived at his residence at Petros Academy Street, Federal Low cost area with no one accompanying him.

The deceased officer, whose age is put at 50 plus, was the Aide De Camp of late Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala during his eleven-month tenure from 2006-2007.
Before his death, Olugbemi served as Divisional Police Officer in Ilupeju, Area Commander in Ajah, and was Personal Assistant to two former Commissioners of Police in Lagos State.
