The National Police Council has officially confirmed Olatunji Disu as the substantive Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
Following the confirmation, Disu’s name is set to be forwarded to the Senate for the mandatory screening and approval process before he assumes full responsibilities as the nation’s top police officer.
