In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and goodwill, the Honourable Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, joined other Muslim faithful in offering prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he marks his 73rd birthday anniversary.

In a statement signed by media aide to the minister, Seyi Olorunsola said the prayer session which was organized in honor of the President, took place on Friday afternoon after Jumat prayer in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State.

The event was attended by the minister, Islamic clerics (Ulamas), party members, and youths, who were all gathered to seek divine blessings for the President.

Speaking after the prayer session, Hon. Ata expressed his gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting President Tinubu another year of life and leadership. He prayed for the president’s long life, sound mind, and strength to continue steering Nigeria towards greater heights.

“We ask Allah for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance upon him as he leads with vision and determination,” the minister stated.

Hon. Ata further prayed for the President’s good health, clarity of mind, and the courage to make decisions that will bring peace, progress, and prosperity to the nation.

He reassured the youths present at the gathering of President Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to addressing their concerns and fostering their development.

“President Tinubu is a visionary leader, a statesman of exceptional courage, and a patriot deeply committed to the progress of our nation through the efforts and contributions of our great Nigerian youths,” he added.

He urged young Nigerians to draw inspiration from the president’s decades-long dedication to selfless service and nation-building.

He highlighted Tinubu’s journey from a pro-democracy activist to a transformational governor of Lagos State and now the president of Nigeria, emphasizing the resilience and determination that have defined his leadership.

The minister also underscored the administration’s bold economic reforms aimed at stabilizing the economy, improving infrastructure, and fostering a conducive environment for investment.

He lauded the President’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes job creation, agricultural expansion, improved healthcare, and enhanced security for Nigerians.

Hon. Ata extended his appreciation to the Ulamas and party stakeholders present at the prayer session for their continued support and trust in President Tinubu’s administration. He assured them that their faith in the government would not be taken for granted.

The prayer event took place just 24 hours before President Tinubu’s 73rd birthday on Saturday, March 29, coming barely two months before his administration’s second anniversary.

With the president’s leadership widely recognized for its transformative policies, the gathering served as both a spiritual and political affirmation of support for his continued efforts in nation-building.
