The Kano State government has warned primary school authorities against the diversion of free instructional materials provided by the state government to primary school pupils in the state.
Grassroots Parrot reports that the state specifically said that all headmasters, headmistresses, and other officials responsible for the distribution should refrain from diversion of the materials for personal gain or face the wrath of the law.
The Chairperson of Tudun Wada Local Government, Hajiya Sa’adatu Salisu Yushe’u Soja, gave the warning on Tuesday during the distribution of the materials to over 34,807 students at the Local Government Education Secretariat.
“The local government leadership will not tolerate any form of corruption or mismanagement in the distribution process.
