Gunmen have abducted a 50-year-old woman, Mrs. Laure Audu, and her teenage daughter, Miss Basira Audu, at Yarmariya village in Tudun Wada Local Government Area of Kano State.
Sources who confirmed the incident to security analyst Zagazola Makama said the armed assailants, wielding dangerous weapons, stormed the residence of Alhaji Audu Shehu at about 1:45 a.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025.
They reportedly whisked away his wife and 15-year-old daughter after shooting his 13-year-old son, Ibrahim Audu, in the left leg.

Police officers from Tudun Wada Division were said to have visited the scene and rushed the injured boy to the General Hospital in Tudun Wada, where he received medical treatment.
According to the sources, an investigation is underway, with security operatives intensifying efforts to track down the kidnappers, rescue the victims, and bring the perpetrators to justice.
