The 10th Senate on Tuesday approved the National Anthem Bill 2024 seeking to reinstate the old national anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
The bill swiftly cleared both its first and second readings and now awaits President Bola Tinubu’s signature to become law.
This follows the House of Representatives’ passage of the bill on Thursday.
