The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has received the petition seeking the recall process of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Secretary to the commission, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, confirmed receipt of the petition on Monday.
Recall that the Senate had suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for six months for violation of the Red Chambers rules.
Her suspension followed her dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio who she accused of sexual harassment, a claim the latter has denied.
