A fatal accident occurred on Wednesday morning along Airport Road by Eldorado Junction, Nasarawa Local Government Area, Kano, resulting in the deaths of two persons and leaving one person seriously injured.
The crash, which happened around 8:00 AM, involved a DAF truck and a Jincheng motorcycle, according to Abdullahi Labaran, the Public Enlightenment Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kano.
Labaran attributed the incident to reckless and dangerous driving, which led to the fatal collision.
He said the deceased victims were transported to Murtala Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, while the injured survivor was taken to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital for treatment.

Labaran confirmed that the vehicles and recovered items from the accident were handed over to the Gwagwarwa Police Division for further investigation.
Eyewitnesses, including business owners near the scene, earlier told Grassroots Parrot that the tipper truck, which was heavily loaded with sand, collided with the motorcycle carrying two passengers.
According to one of the witnesses, “The bike rider and a lady died instantly, while another individual sustained serious injuries and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for urgent medical attention.”
