The remains of three of the victims of a building collapse in Kano were laid to rest on Monday amid tears by family members, friends, and associates.

Grassroots Parrot had reported how the building collapsed on Thursday at Nomans Land in the Sabongari area of Kano, killing at least three people.

The victims include two children of the tenant of the ill-fated building and a nephew who is residing with them.

The first daughter of the family, simply identified as Damilola, is still missing as of the time of filing this report, four days after the incident, despite endless rescue operations.

The parents of the victims are the only survivors who are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

The mass burial coordinated by Pastor Michael Eyien was attended by a mammoth crowd who trooped in to pay their last respects to the victims of the unfortunate incident at Hamadiyya cemetery.
