The Senator representing Anambra South in the National Assembly, Ifeanyi Ubah, has tragically passed away. The esteemed lawmaker, who also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil, died in a hotel in London, United Kingdom, on Saturday.
The confirmation of Senator Ubah’s death came from Senate spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu. In a brief statement to newsmen on Saturday, Adaramodu said, “It’s confirmed, but I am sending an official statement soon.”

Senator Ubah was a prominent political figure, having been re-elected into the 10th Senate under the Young Peoples Party (YPP) before defecting to the All Progressive Congress (APC) last year.
His political journey was marked by significant events, including a near-death experience in September 2022, when he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.
The late Ubah dies at the age of 52years, He would have celebrated his 53rd birthday on September 3.
