Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has solicited support for the families of the victims of an arson attack on a mosque at Larabar Abasawa in the Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano State.

Grassroots Parrot had reported how the attack claimed the lives of 15 worshippers so far, with 17 others sustaining injuries.

Expressing condolence in a statement he personally signed in Abuja on Saturday, Ganduje condemned the attack and consoled the families of the victims.

The former Kano Governor said he was deeply saddened by the unfortunate tragedy in which the worshippers were gruesomely killed and offered words of comfort and support to those recovering from their injuries.

“This tragic attack should rightly shake our people to their cores, considering the magnitude of losses, and we stand in solidarity with those who are mourning the loss of their loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with each and every individual impacted by this tragedy.” He said.

“In times like these, it is crucial that we come together to support one another, offering comfort, strength, and compassion to those in need.”

The APC chairman urged everyone, particularly those in privileged positions, to lend a helping hand to those affected and to provide whatever assistance they can during this difficult time.

While thanking the people of the state for their support and prayers, Ganduje assured them that the prevailing economic situation will soon be over when the full economic policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are gradually implemented.
