Confirming the rationale behind the donation, an aide to the Senator, Dawuud Auwal, praised Senator Hanga for his foresight and referred to a report detailing the project’s objectives.

In his first news conference since his election in 2023, Senator Hanga elaborated on the significance of the donation, stating that the lack of clay pots in graveyards prompted the initiative.

He disclosed that the donation was made to the Kano state committee for the graveyards, under the leadership of Dangoribar Kano and the district head of Tarauni Local government.

Despite facing health challenges after his election, which led to prolonged hospital stays both within Nigeria and abroad, Senator Hanga remained committed to serving his constituents.
