Security operatives in Kano State have intercepted a group of suspected assassins who disguised themselves as women in a bid to carry out targeted killings in Kurna community.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, revealed the incident in a post on his X account, noting that the suspects stormed the area with the intention of eliminating specific individuals before they were stopped in their tracks.
According to reports, the plan was uncovered by a vigilant local security team that swiftly moved to foil the operation. Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspects are part of a broader network of hired killers who often employ disguises to infiltrate neighborhoods undetected.

The suspects are currently in security custody, where they are undergoing interrogation ahead of possible prosecution.
Meanwhile, residents of Kurna have commended the quick intervention of the operatives, describing it as a major relief to the community. They, however, urged the government and security agencies to intensify surveillance and intelligence gathering to prevent future threats.
