Veteran Yoruba actress Peju Ogunmola has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of her only child, 24-year-old Ayomikun Omobolanle.
GRASSROOTS PARROT gathered that Ayomikun died after a tragic bathroom accident in which he reportedly slipped and fell. The incident occurred while his 56-year-old mother was said to be on a movie set.
Ayomikun, the only child of Ogunmola and her husband, veteran comic actor Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Papi Luwe, had only recently completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, a milestone that had brought immense pride to his parents.

Colleagues, fans, and friends in the Yoruba movie industry have described the devastating news as an irreparable tragedy for one of Nollywood’s respected families.
Sources close to the family revealed that Ayomikun, who had been residing abroad, was alone when the accident happened.
