A tragic incident marred the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations in Tasha Dinya Village, Fufore Local Government Area of Adamawa State, as an 18-year-old boy lost his life while his 16-year-old cousin remains in critical condition following a violent altercation over a lady.

The clash, which occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, involved Idrisu Nuhu and Ahmadu Lawali. Intelligence sources disclosed to security analyst Zagazola Makama that the cousins engaged in a fierce fight, attacking each other with machetes.

Ahmadu is currently battling for his life and remains under medical care.

Security operatives recovered two cutlasses from the scene as exhibits. Meanwhile, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been tasked with conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
