President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday appointed seven new ministers to his cabinet.
Grassroots Parrot reports that the appointment was announced in a statement issued by the presidency following the federal executive council meeting on Wednesday.
Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu was appointed as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, while Jumoke Oduwole was named Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Others are Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Labour & Employment and Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Ministry of Livestock Development.

Rt.Hon.Yusuf Abdullahi Ata was also appointed as Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; while Dr Suwaiba Said Ahmad, was appointed as Minister of State Education.
Sunday Dare, former Minister of Sports, has been named Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation.
The development came shortly after the President dismissed five ministers from his cabinet.

The affected ministers are: Minister of Women Affairs, Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye; Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John; Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman; Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo; and Minister of Youth Development, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim.
The president, however, charged the newly appointed cabinet members to see their appointments as a call to serve the nation.
According to him, all the appointees must understand the administration’s eagerness and determination to set Nigeria on the path to irreversible growth and invest the best of their abilities into the actualisation of the government’s priorities.
