Nigeria’s Super Falcons attacker, Asisat Oshoala, has clinched the UEFA Goal of the Season award for her spectacular bicycle kick while playing for the FC Barcelona Feminine side.
The stunning goal was scored during a matchday one encounter against Benfica in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Oshoala, who departed Barcelona during the winter transfer window to join NWSL side Bay FC, left an indelible mark before her exit. Despite kick-starting the competition with Barcelona, she could not complete the season with the Catalan side.
Her impressive bicycle kick was selected by UEFA’s Technical Observer panel, beating out strong contenders including her former teammate Aitana Bonmati and Lyon’s Delphine Cascarino. The award highlights Oshoala’s exceptional skill and contribution to women’s football.
