President Bola Tinubu has invited the organized labor, consisting of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress, to a meeting at the Aso Villa on Thursday.
This indicates that the federal government may soon agree on a new national minimum wage.
A close source in the labor leadership who craved anonymity made this known to the Punch newspaper on Wednesday.
According to him, Tinubu is willing to settle the lingering talks on minimum wage on Thursday, as he has invited the joint union presidents to a meeting.
