Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved the appointment and reassignment of several key officials within his administration.
The announcement was made by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, in a statement released on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
Among the notable appointments is Dr. Ibrahim Musa, a renowned public health expert and hematologist at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH), who will serve as Special Adviser on Health Services and Personal Physician to the Governor.
Additionally, popular Kannywood actor Sani Musa Danja has been named Special Adviser on Youth and Sports.

3. Dr. Kabiru Ado Zakirai – Executive Secretary, Kano State Library Board
4. Dr. Abubakar Musa Yakubu– Medical Director, Government House Clinic
5. Yusuf Jibrin Oyoyo– Special Adviser, Students’ Matters
6. Hon. Isa Musa Kumurya– Special Adviser, Marshals
7. Hajia Fatima Abubakar Amneef– Special Adviser, Enlightenment and Social Mobilization
8. Comrade Nura Iro Ma’aji – Special Adviser, Employment
These appointments and reassignments, which take effect immediately, are part of Governor Yusuf’s efforts to strengthen his administration and enhance governance across the state.
