The Kano State Government has donated N100 million to support victims of the recent floods in Borno State.

The cheque for donation of N100 million was presented to the Governor of Borno state by the representatives of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The representative included the Kano State Commissioner of Information, Baba Halilu Dantiye, Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Eradication Hajiya Amina Sani and Special Adviser to the Governor on  Policy and Social Development Dr. Danyaro Yakasai during a sympathy visit.

A statement issued by Sani Abba Yola, Director, Special Duties, Kano State Ministry of Information and Internal Affairs, quoted Governor Yusuf as expressing deep sympathy for the victims.
