Blackville has announced the launch of a new creative management platform, Blackville Talents Agency Ltd, trading as The Talents Agency by Blackville, marking the start of the New Year with a strategic expansion into talent discovery and representation.
The announcement was made on Thursday, with the company describing the move as a bold intervention aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s creative ecosystem.
According to Blackville, the new agency is designed as a 360-degree talent discovery, recruitment, management, and promotion platform, focused on nurturing and projecting creative talents across multiple disciplines for both local and international markets.
Blackville Talents Agency Ltd is a sister company to Blackville Media Ltd, the production house behind the critically acclaimed films Kaka and Mai Martaba, Nigeria’s official submission for the 2025 Academy Awards.
Both films were directed by Prince Daniel, the Chief Executive Officer of the two companies, whose work has earned significant recognition within and outside Nigeria.

Describing the signing, the agency said Booth is “a consummate professional and one of the most talented actors in the Nigerian film industry,” adding that the partnership is aimed at strengthening and repositioning her brand for sustained global relevance.
The agency noted that Booth’s discipline, versatility, and expanding international presence make her a strong representative of Nigeria’s creative exports as the country continues to assert itself on the global stage.
The statement concluded by formally welcoming Maryam Booth to The Talents Agency by Blackville, describing the collaboration as the beginning of a high-impact and purpose-driven partnership.
