Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf have come under fire for allegedly orchestrating a letter against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Pulse Nigeria reported that Kwankwaso is accused of planning to mobilize NNPP lawmakers in the National Assembly to launch a strong attack on President Tinubu and the federal government concerning the ongoing Emirate conflict in Kano State.

Grassroots Parrot gathered that during a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, July 9, Dr. Agabi Emmanuel, convener of the Northern Patriotic Agenda (NPA), condemned Kwankwaso’s letter to NNPP members in the National Assembly as “a desperate attempt to regain his declining political power” and a threat to governmental stability.

Emmanuel stressed that Kwankwaso’s disregard for the Constitution and democratic principles is deeply concerning. He called for increased vigilance from law enforcement agencies to counteract Kwankwaso’s dangerous plans and protect the safety and well-being of the citizens.

“Law enforcement agencies must exercise heightened vigilance towards Kwankwaso’s machinations, which imperil the stability of our government and undermine the democratic principles enshrined in our Constitution,” Emmanuel stated.

He further noted that this latest move is just one instance of Kwankwaso’s efforts to subvert President Tinubu’s administration. Emmanuel’s call to action emphasized the importance of protecting democratic principles and maintaining governmental stability in the face of such threats.
