The Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, alongside other prominent political leaders from the South-East, has formally declared for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The declaration was made on Wednesday in Enugu, Enugu State, where the leaders said their decision followed months of consultations.
They explained that the move was aimed at working with other opposition figures nationwide to “rescue Nigeria from the poor governance of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
