The Borno State Commissioner for Finance, Ahmed Ali Ahmed, has been found dead in his residence. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, but sources close to the situation revealed that the commissioner was discovered lifeless inside his room on Monday morning.
According to reports, the late commissioner failed to emerge at his usual time, prompting concern among those close to him. When his door was eventually forced open, his body was found inside. “Oga is no more; he died early this morning,” a source disclosed to journalists.
The Borno State Government officially confirmed the death of Ahmed Ali Ahmed in a statement released by the Commissioner of Information and Internal Security, Professor Usman Tar. The statement noted that the burial is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. today at the family house of the deceased on Damboa Road, behind Indimi’s residence in Maiduguri.
