The Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KACCIMA) has announced that its 45th International Trade Fair will host at least 300 companies from Nigeria and abroad. The event is set to take place from November 23 to December 7, 2024, in Kano.
KACCIMA President, Alhaji Garba Imam, disclosed this during a press briefing, emphasizing the chamber’s readiness to ensure a successful and secure event.
Imam revealed that international participants are expected from countries such as India and Niger Republic, alongside local businesses. “We are expecting 300 participants. The gate fee is free for visitors to encourage large attendance,” he said.

The fair, designed to foster business networking and showcase goods and services, will feature Vice President Kashim Shettima as the official guest of honor, while Kano State Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf will serve as the chief host.
To guarantee safety, KACCIMA has engaged 80 security personnel and installed CCTV cameras at the venue to ensure seamless monitoring. “We have provided adequate security to safeguard the lives and properties of participants and visitors. There will be no security breaches,” Imam assured.
The chamber has also enhanced visitor convenience by offering free internet services within the trade fair complex. “Visitors will receive passwords to access free data during the event,” Imam added.

Imam encouraged the public to attend the trade fair in large numbers, highlighting the opportunity to explore and purchase goods in a secure and vibrant environment.
