The lifeless bodies of a businessman and a young woman were found in an apartment in the Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The deceased, identified as Sheriff Salifu, and Blessing Adama, a student of the Kogi State College of Education, were discovered in Salifu’s room under disturbing circumstances.
Grassroots Parrot gathered that the tragic incident occurred on Friday, April 18, 2025, and was confirmed by the Kogi State Police Command on Saturday.
According to the command’s spokesperson, SP William Aya, both individuals were discovered naked, sparking speculation about the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

“One Salisu Ibrahim from Alo in Ankpa came to the station around 12 pm to report that his tenant, Sheriff Salifu, had not come out of his room as usual by 9:31 am,” the PPRO said.
The unusual silence prompted concern, leading Salifu’s brother to force entry into the apartment through the ceiling. Upon entering, he discovered the lifeless bodies of his brother and Blessing Adama, who hails from Ojogobi Road, Ankpa.
Police detectives, led by the Divisional Police Officer in Ankpa, arrived at the scene shortly after and confirmed the tragic discovery.
