Tinuade, one of the wives of former Oyo State Governor and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Rashidi Ladoja, has passed away. She died yesterday morning at the age of 71, following a brief illness.
A deeply religious woman, Tinuade was a prominent member of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), where she held a significant position in the Pastor-in-Council, the highest decision-making body of the church. The CCC Ikeja Parish 1 Cathedral confirmed her death in a Facebook post, expressing deep sorrow over her passing.

Her death was also confirmed by Adeola Oloko, media aide to Rashidi Ladoja. “Yes, it is confirmed. She is dead. May God repose her soul,” Oloko said in a brief statement.
Tinuade Ladoja’s influence extended beyond her religious role, as she was known for her active involvement in community and family life. Her demise marks a significant loss for the Ladoja family, the Celestial Church of Christ, and the wider community in Oyo State.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
