Men of the Ogun State Police Command on Wednesday, November 19, intercepted a motorcycle rider, identified as Godonu Lowe, after he was found conveying the corpse of a woman later confirmed to be his wife.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Omolola Odutola, the suspect was stopped following a credible tip-off from an anonymous informant. Officers who flagged down the motorcycle discovered a tightly sealed sack tied to the rear of the bike.
Upon inspection, the sack was untied, revealing the lifeless body of an adult female. Police said the corpse bore visible signs of violence, including bleeding around the neck, strongly suggesting foul play. A blood-stained cutlass was also recovered.
