In a significant move to support the families of fallen police officers, the Kano State Police Command has distributed a total of N83,102,207.38 to the families of 45 deceased officers and those injured in the line of duty.
The presentation took place at the Police Headquarters in Bompai, Kano, led by Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo.
During the event, CP Dogo emphasized the initiative as a demonstration of the police force’s commitment to the welfare of its personnel and their families. “The presentation of cheques to the beneficiaries is a clear demonstration of the Inspector-General of Police’s commitment to the welfare of police personnel and their families,” he stated.

Beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude for the aid, with many vowing to utilize the funds effectively to navigate their challenges.
