The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has arrested a former governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa
Okowa, the former running mate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP’s Presidential Candidate in the 2023 general election, was arrested for alleged diversion of N1.3 trillion fraud.
The funds were allegedly diverted from the federation account between 2015 and 2023. The EFCC source confirmed the development to Channels TV on Monday evening.
