The family of 29-year-old Sociology graduate, Blessing Moshood, has demanded justice following her alleged murder in Abuja.

Blessing, a graduate of Kogi State University, reportedly left her family home in Jikwoyi on Thursday night after receiving a phone call.

According to her sister, Abigail Moshood, she later called to say she would briefly return home to pick up her phone charger but never came back.

The family became alarmed when she could not be reached and failed to return the following day. Their fears were confirmed after reports emerged of a woman’s body found in a canal in Jikwoyi.

The deceased was later identified as Blessing after family members were shown photographs by police officers at the Jikwoyi Police Station.
