The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested a 48-year-old man, Ibrahim Haruna, and his 15-year-old son for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in the Jekadafari area of Gombe State.

The suspects were remanded at the NSCDC headquarters in the state on Monday following their arrest.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the command, SC Buhari Sa’ad, said investigations revealed that the father and son committed the crime on separate occasions.

According to him, Haruna, who works as a tailor, allegedly assaulted the victim at his tailoring shop, while his teenage son reportedly committed the same crime at their residence.
