The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) says it has extended the closing date for receiving applications for various positions within the civil service.
The recruitment exercise, announced on January 27, was set to close on March 10.
However, in a statement on Monday, Taiwo Hassan, FCSC’s head of public relations, said the deadline has been extended to March 17, “to allow more eligible candidates to participate in the exercise”.
“This announcement supersedes the previous advertisement of Monday, 27th January 2025 in The Sun, Daily Trust and The Nation newspapers, including FCSC website: http://fedcivilservice.gov.ng, where the deadline was Monday, 10th March 2025,” the statement reads.

“The current information is published on the FCSC website and in The Sun and The Nation newspapers of Monday, 10th March 2025, including Daily Trust of Tuesday, 11th March 2025.
“Qualified Nigerians are urged to avail themselves of the extension opportunity and apply for the vacancies of their choice.
“The commission assures applicants of merit-driven and transparent recruitment.”
