Former President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a high-level delegation of ten former ministers to extend his condolences to ex-Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, over the recent loss of her son, Richard Adamu Tallen.

The delegation, led by former Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, conveyed Buhari’s heartfelt message, describing Richard as “a gem and a rising star” whose sudden passing has left many deeply saddened.

In a statement released on Thursday by his spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, Buhari expressed his sympathies to Tallen and her family, urging them to find solace in the overwhelming support and outpouring of love from friends, family, and admirers during this difficult time.

The delegation included notable figures from Buhari’s former cabinet, such as the former Minister of Power, Engineer Abubakar Aliyu; former Minister of Environment, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi; former Minister of State for Power, Jedy Agba; former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Umana Umana; and former Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Chief Niyi Adebayo.

Other members of the delegation were former Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare; former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; former Minister of Transportation, Muazu Jaji; and former Minister of Water Resources, Engineer Suleiman Adamu.

During the visit, prayers were offered for the repose of Richard’s soul, and the delegation emphasized the importance of faith and strength in facing such a tremendous loss.

They also acknowledged the significant contributions Pauline Tallen has made to the country, encouraging her to remain steadfast in her faith.
